Irish in Paraguay
Ireland is best known in Paraguay as the homeland of Eliza Lynch – the “Queen of Paraguay”, who once owned a third of the country’s land. Today, the Irish in Paraguay are represented by the Irish Embassy in Buenos Aires and an Irish Honorary Consul in Asunción.
