Irish in Peru
The Irish in Peru have a diverse and interesting history – Ambrosio O’Higgins, from Sligo, served as viceroy of the country. Today, the Irish in Peru are served by the Irish Embassy in Mexico. There is also an Irish Honorary Consulate in Lima.
